IMAP mail always automatically marked as read

Hello Zoho Team/Users,

Whenever I get my mail by IMAP, if from my phone or from evolution on Ubuntu Linux 12.04 (precise pangolin), all my mailarrives late (about 10minutes after sending it) and already marked as read. This makes it hard to get my eMail the way I prefer (in a dedicated Client)
