IMAP Sync Should notify user when it breaks

Every time a user changes their outlook password, their IMAP sync breaks. Emails just stop syncing, but on the user's end, and on the admin's end, everything looks like it is still set up. Is there any way that Zoho could notify a user when their sync stops working? This would take away a lot of confusion for people.
