Immediate Webhooks not firing in a timely fashion.

Hello,

I have a webhook setup to fire "Immediately" on an invoice being created or edited.

Testing this recently though, I've noticed the webhook does not fire in a timely fashion. For instance, I created an invoice over 5 minutes ago and the webhook has not yet fired. This is an issue because our business needs require us to sometimes collect payment in person when the invoice is created. If the webhook doesn't fire though, our backend doesn't know about the invoice in order to collect payment for it.

Is there some explanation for the behavior I'm seeing?
