Import Data before Publishing

Import Data before Publishing

Hello,

I was wondering if it's possible to import data using a module before actually publishing the vertical. For example if I wanted to create a module called Zipcodes and preload it with all the US info will this info be passed on to the final product or does the user have to create this.

Anyone know?
