Import more than 1500 Contacts

Import more than 1500 Contacts

I want to  Import more than 1500 Contacts. I have Professional Upgrade, have had for 5 years, but when I tried to upload around 3000 contacts, it says I can only do 1500. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas out there?
