Import of contacts: relation between contacts and companies

If I have a file with more than one contact in each company and want to import the companies AND the contacts:

How can I build the relation between the files under the TAB companies and the contacts under the TAB contacts?

Must I import at first the companies and than the contacts?

Is there a field that build the relation between companies and contacts (e.g. custumer-number)?
