Important Changes in Campaigns Module

Hello!

We have improved the functionality of the Campaigns module in Zoho CRM that will better address most of your campaign management needs.

With the earlier version of Campaigns module, you could:
  • Associate a campaign to a lead or contact
  • Associate only new leads and contacts to the Campaign

The improvements in the Campaigns module are:
  • Associate multiple campaigns to a lead or contact instead of a single Campaign Source






  • Add the existing leads or contacts as campaign members to different Campaigns




  • Import leads and contacts from the individual campaign page and automatically associate them to the campaign
  • Mass update the Campaign Member Status field in the Campaigns Related Lists
  • Customize Campaign Member Status field values as per your business needs
  • Convert leads and select a campaign from the list of campaigns associated to the lead.
    All the campaigns associated to the lead will be transferred to the contact. For Potential, the selected campaign will be associated.


The effects as a result of the Improvements
  1. The Campaign Source field will not be available in the Leads and Contacts modules.


  2. Workflow Rules and Assignment Rules with Campaign Source field in its criteria, will not work.

  3. Formula fields including Campaign Source field will not execute.
