Hello everyone,

In our previous post we had informed about the old browsers that were updated for Zoho CRM. As a result, all versions of Internet Explorer will stop working, instead Edge can be used. We hope all our users have upgraded to the new browser versions.

The MS Outlook Plugin provides support for viewing contextual information of a lead or contact once SalesInbox is enabled inside Zoho CRM Plugin for MS outlook. This contextual information is displayed in the side panel when an email is selected, this panel is an Internet Explorer panel embedded inside MS Outlook. This panel also allows users to add new recipients as Leads or Contacts in CRM, create activities, and add notes on a record.

Since we are going to discontinue our support for the Internet Explorer browser, users will NOT be able to view the side panel inside the Outlook plugin.

Therefore, we recommend our users to switch to Zoho CRM Email Add-in feature, which provides similar functionalities such as: displaying contextual CRM info, adding Lead or Contacts, creating activities, and adding notes to a record associated.
