Importing accounts etc won't associate to proper user for some reason?

Hey everyone, not sure what I'm doing wrong.  We use Google Apps so all my users are user@mycompany.com which I've set up through Google apps and then they have usernames like user1, user2 etc.

I'm trying to import from Dynamics CRM but no matter what I use for Assigned To, it always assigns to myself.  I've tried using full email like it says for the user, that doesn't work.  I've tried user name, first name, last name, full name, it always assigns it to myself for some reason.  Everything else seems to work fine, except that I can't import anything which is driving me crazy.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I can post my exact user details and names in a private message just rather not do it here.  I'm just not sure what the problem is, every other field maps perfectly, it's just these that don't...
