Importing Contacts

I was able to import contacts no problem in the On premises version but have not been able to successfully import them in the On Demand version. I get to the last step after mapping the fields and the whole thing hangs up. I have tried for hours to do this to no avail.
Let me know what I can do. The contact aspect should be the easy part. I was able to import my products though.
