In order to address another issue with my addressbook I exported my contacts in CSV format and then cleaned them up and reimported them. I noted that the work address fields for street, city etc. were not imported.

I checked the file, they were present, but not text strings were quoted, so I reimported the original file - the one that was exported, without modification.The work address fields for street, city etc. were not imported.

I reimported a previously exported vCard file (exported from Zoho), all the fields were intact.

There appears to be something wrong with the CSV import utility - I checked all the fields when I imported it the second time to verify they were correctly mapped, and the detail was correctly mapped, just lost when importing.
