Importing from alternative user using the the Upload tool

Hi,

I need to import data using using the Upload tool from an alternative user (not the user who created the database)

I upgraded my account to a standard plan that allows a multiple db owners.
I then make that user a db owner.

I verified that the new owner can see the database (under Shared to Me) and can import from the web interface.

However, the Upload tool fails with the following error:

Please help. What is the point of multiple db owners if this is not possible?
