Importing Leads

I get the following message:

Leads Added.
0 Leads Updated.
0 Leads Skipped.
Following Leads are IGNORED.
Reason: Some of the Mandatory field values are null.
Row Numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 .........

when I try and load from an XLS - the data is all there and I have done the account mapping - any thoughts?
