IMPORTING LEADS THAT DO NOT HAVE MANDATORY "COMPANY NAME" FIELD?

IMPORTING LEADS THAT DO NOT HAVE MANDATORY "COMPANY NAME" FIELD?

I just purchased a list of leads. Many do not have a "company name" and therefore don't get imported. Is there a way to override this mandatory import field?
