In the candidate view screen why is the email field column soooooooooooo long

In the candidate view screen why is the email field column soooooooooooo long

I have come to realize how important my main candidate view is.  As I look to make it more efficient I can't  help but see the column space allotted for the email field is ginormous, crowds everything else out.  why can't this column be a bit smaller.  No one has email addresses that long.
