Inbox- sender name

Inbox- sender name

So I logged in this morning, to see that instead of sender name alongside emails in initial inbox view, there is now a 2 initial picture.

So on loading inbox my emails now read CC, T&, MA.

This is somewhat useless in terms of working out who the message is actually from, one must now open the message or hover over/ tap the picture....

This is happening on laptop & tablet, but not mobile phone.

What do other users think of this design change?

Is there a way to turn it off?

If not, I will be closing my account because failing to see easily who has sent me an email does not meet my needs.
