- Contact
- Transaction
However the idea of tags was strangely implemented by Zoho Books developers.
Let assume you have a tag associated to an item (in Item module). For example the product is from Germany, so you add a tag Germany. You expect that every time you use the product in your estimate, invoice etc. it will get the tag? You will be surprised...
When you save the estimate as draft, back to edit it again and change the Contact, ZB will remove all tags associated to item used on the document!!!
Zoho support explanation: you didn't associate the tag to Contact...
Dear ZOHO, I described a product feature (in Item module), not a customer feature (in Contact module).
If I associate a tag in ITEM MODULE I expect the product feature is not relevant to Contact!!! Please remember - product feature doesn't mean customer feature - so you shouldn't mix tag between the modules or make one dependent on the other!
