Hello everyone!
Organizations consume Zoho CRM APIs for various business needs, and it's a show-stopper when you exhaust your API credits before the 24-hour rolling window replenishes your credits.
To meet your growing needs and help you keep your business running smoothly, we are delighted to share that we have increased the maximum credits for the following editions:
- Professional
- Enterprise, Zoho One
A little recap:
Every edition has allowed credits and maximum credits in a 24-hour rolling window.
The allowed credits is calculated based on the number of user licenses. For example, the allowed credits for the Professional edition with 100 user licenses amounts to 100,000[calculated as 50k credits + (Number of User licenses x 500)]. If your org requires more credits, you can purchase them as add-on credits.
However, the sum of allowed credits and add-on credits cannot exceed the defined maximum credits for your edition.
The revised maximum credits are:
Edition | Current Maximum Credits | Revised Maximum Credits |
Professional | 1,000,000 | 3,000,000 |
Enterprise/Zoho One | 2,000,000 | 5,000,000 |
How does it help organizations?
Credit consumption of each org varies, and you can purchase add-on credits so long as the total credits do not exceed the maximum credits for your edition.
With the increase in the maximum credits, you can purchase more add-on credits.
For example, in the Professional edition, if the user licenses are 100, then the allowed credits will be 100,000. Previously, the org was eligible to purchase up to 900,000 add-on credits, since the maximum credits for this edition was capped at 1,000,000.
However, with the revised maximum limit of 3,000,000, the org in the Professional edition is now eligible to purchase up to 2,900,000 credits!
What happens when you exhaust your credits?
We understand the impact that exhausting API credits can have on your business operations. To prevent any immediate business disruption, we allow a fair grace limit to give you additional time to purchase add-on credits as per your usage.
We hope you are excited about this change.
Cheers!
