Insert Custom Stylesheets in Writer Document
Hi Folks,
Here's a tip for advanced users of Zoho Writer who wish to dabble in adding custom styles/css to their documents. Currently you can add custom stylesheets to your documents in a couple of ways:
# Click on the "Insert" tab, and the choose the option "Insert Stylesheet" from the menu. A pop-up will appear on the editor prompting you enter the URL of a stylesheet on the web. The style/css defined in the web url will take effect on the particular document in which it is inserted. Please refer to the attached image for details.
# One more of way of inserting custom style/css for a particular document is by specifying them on your own. Users who are familiar with Style/CSS tags can take advantage of this feature. Click on the "HTML Code View" option from the "Views" tab and select "Style" from the pop-up window. Insert custom styles/css of your own for the current document and save it. The custom styles are added in the "--format--" drop down menu and can be access from "Format" tab. Choose texts in the current document and apply the custom styles for it to take effect. Remember, this works only for the current document in which the custom styles are being inserted. Refer to the attached images (ins_style1/2) for details.
Do tell us how you wish to have your custom styles incorporated in Writer document.
Thanks,
Ahmed
