Inserting image to email template

Inserting image to email template

Hi,

I can't seem to get email templates working with inserted images. I've tried a couple of examples posted in other posts, but no luck.
I'm using Setup > Templates > Email Templates
I create a new template
I insert the HTML code to link to an image on my web site, as well as some other HTML formatting and text.
When I create a new email using this template, all of the HTML except the image works. It shows an empty icon instead of the image on my web site. I send the email and i receive the same thing: an empty icon.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
