Instability of VO - is it just me?

Hello again. After having my last little "problem" sorted out for me successfully, I'm going to try with another and see if I have success again!

I know the following problem is not because of one particular machine, as I have had the trial version of VO installed on two machines now (NOT at the same time of course!!)...

It seems that after a period of time (say, two days) I notice an additional "VO" icon appear in my system tray, suggesting that two copies of VO are running on the machine - one greyed out, the other normal. I am not sure if it is because VO is trying to start another copy of itself without shutting the first one down for some reason, or whether the first copy is being shut down and then it's trying to run a fresh copy of itself. After a minute or two of splashscreen, the second copy finds it can't load itself (because "mysql" is still running - I can tell from the task manager) and that one disappears, leaving only the greyed out icon...

When I mouse over the greyed out icon that is left, it disappears as if it's just been left over from a program crash. If I manually shutdown "mysql" in the task manager and then start VO myself, it will run problem free for maybe another two days! And all this can take place suddenly when the program has already been running perfectly for a couple of days (it might not be exactly two days - don't take that as an accurate timing!).

I know one solution might be to restart the server every day or two, or not leave it running constantly, but servers and server software are designed to be left running and running... besides, if I'm away from home trying to access my VO, I can't if it's decided to go funny on me!

I've a feeling you will ask me to send my log files to you, which I will happily do, but I thought I'd post here first just to see if anyone else has experienced this apparent instability.
