install works, however, can't start
Hi, I downloaded the product the other day and I tried to do an install of the free version. The install completes with no apparent error messages. However, when I change to the directory and try to run run.sh
I eventually get the following error message:
Trying to start PostgresSQL server failed
This machine does have a version of postgres installed from when the machine was installed. It is a fedora core4 box.
I have tried installing it as both a regular user and as a root user and get the same issue. I have tried installing it under my user directory, and in a section under /usr/local, again it made no difference.
I thought I found the file that controlled what port postgres was going to use for your application, but changing that and then trying run.sh didn't seem to matter either.
It looks like a really great product, and I would love to get it running.
thanks.
