Trying to create a ticket report in the free version of Zoho Desk (Analytics > tickets by contact), same as I have always done for the past 4 years every 2 weeks, and I am receiving the following message:



I am labeled as Support Administrator, and we have changed no permissions at all. Did something change in 2025?

It seems there might have been some confusion here. Upon re-verifying your Zoho Desk profile, it appears you’ve been on the Free version since 2018. In this version, the "Analytics" module isn’t supported. The available modules are limited to Tickets, Knowledge Base, Customers, and IM.

Could you double-check if you might have used a different Zoho Desk account for this process? Customizations or additional modules aren’t possible in the Free version.

Did this just recently change? I have been using analytics to create reports since 2018.. did 2025 change that?

We’ve confirmed that this feature hasn’t been modified and has been unsupported in the Free edition from the start. Do you happen to have any sample details or downloaded reports we can review? Feel free to share them with us at support@zohodesk.com, and we’ll validate this further.

I just zipped up a years worth of reports and emailed it to that address. Every 2 weeks we have a meeting that I print to PDF a report created in the Analytics tab of Zoho.

I was hitting Save, which I'm assuming saves the report as a template, rather than Run.

I am all good, thank you for your help.
