Integrate Zoho SalesIQ JS APIs into SalesIQ WordPress Plugin
Dear Zoho SalesIQ Team,
I'm writing to propose a new feature for the Zoho SalesIQ WordPress plugin that would significantly enhance its functionality.
Current Challenge:
The current WordPress plugin for Zoho SalesIQ does not support the SalesIQ JS APIs. This poses a limitation for scenarios where automatic retrieval of visitor information is desired.
Desired Functionality:
We propose implementing support for the Zoho SalesIQ JS APIs within the WordPress plugin. This integration would enable functionalities such as:
Automatic Visitor Information Retrieval: Utilize the Visitor API to automatically capture visitor details (name, email, phone number) without requiring manual input during chat sessions. This would streamline the chat experience and improve lead capturing.
Specific API Need:
In particular, we'd like to leverage the Visitor API to capture visitor information automatically. This would eliminate the need for a separate login or information request process within the chat, enhancing user experience.
Benefits of Integration:
Integrating the JS APIs would offer several advantages:
Improved User Experience: Automatic visitor information retrieval eliminates the need for manual input, simplifying the chat initiation process.
Enhanced Lead Capture: Automating data capture ensures capture of valuable visitor information readily available through Zoho SalesIQ.
Streamlined Workflow: Eliminates the need for separate login or information request workflows within the chat interface.
Alternative Solutions: I do realise that instead of using the SalesIQ WordPress Plugin I can add the SalesIQ code to
Wordpress headers and Footers plugin - but since there is already a SalesIQ WordPress Plugin it seams redundent.
Conclusion:
By integrating the Zoho SalesIQ JS APIs into the WordPress plugin, Zoho can empower users to leverage valuable functionalities like automatic visitor data retrieval. This would enhance the overall user experience and effectiveness of the Zoho SalesIQ WordPress integration.
