Integrating a Creator Custom Application with Zoho projects, discussions, documents, etc

We are new to using this tool and have developed a basic database application in creator. We now need to add some PM type features to this, and are looking at/how we could integrate our application into zoho PM system. How does this owkr? can projects in PM be linked to our database items/rows easily in creator? what about discussion forums?
