Integrating POS system to Zoho
Our company is trying to import data from our Lightspeed Retail POS system to Zoho one, for both CRM for targeted marketing and analytics purposes. As many of you are aware, there is no native connector to Lightspeed POS so we are exploring other options to integrate the data. I am wondering if anyone has any experience connecting their own system to Zoho CRM via API and how that experience was.
Our biggest point of confusion is how to map the data that comes out of the POS system into various modules in Zoho CRM. Do we just define the mapping to the fields that we think are equivalent?
Also, can we define the unique keys between each table, very much to a relational database? When I tried to import data from Zoho CRM to Zoho Analytics, it seems like the table schema has been defined, so I am curious to know how that is defined and whether that is something that is preset from Zoho CRM.
