Am using Zoho CRM and Zoho Mail - Here are some things I wish it would do:
1) From Zoho Mail inbox - when reading an email from I client - I can Add Task, Add Note etc, but what I really would like is:
a) To have a link/button - that would open a tab/window to view that client's CRM record (this feature is available through the mailmagnet icon - but not from Zoho email inbox)
b) To be able to add the attachments on the client email - to the client's CRM record (right now i have to download the attachments to PC desktop - then go to search and find the CRM record - then upload document to attach it to client record - which is al rather cumbersome)
2) Allow control over which users/roles/profiles can see emails sent to client through CRM.
This to me is a BIG ISSUE. Zoho has some very sophisticated settings to create groups/organisations/roles etc and this enables you to fine tune which records AND which fields a particular team or department can view.
BUT - there is no control at all over who can see the emails generated by the CRM to clients. So ALL emails sent by the CRM and visible to EVERY single user on the CRM.
This is such a big issue for me that I have had to set up entirely separate Zoho systems for each department in an organisation.
I DO NOT want the customer service reps to see emails sent by the Legal Department etc etc
If you implement Zoho in a Hospital - you do not want the maintenance staff seeing the medical notes sent by the doctors.
So Zoho - please, please add the ability to control who can see emails sent from a particular user in the CRM
