Introducing an additional placement for Custom Buttons (List View - Utility menu)

Hello everyone,
 
We will introduce an additional placement for the custom buttons called the utility menu aside from the following locations:  
  • Create/Clone
  • Edit
  • View page
  • List View - Button for each record
  • List view page
  • Related List
The new location called the List view - Utility Menu allows you to access the button from the module's list view. The button will be placed in the top panel before the More icon in the list view.


This option will be available for everyone by the end of this week.
 
You can place a button here when you want to perform an action that is only specific to the module and not the records present in the module. Therefore, the actions that are configured for this button will not get any record specific information. For example, every time your inventory runs low, you place an order with your vendor for stock update. You can place the vendor's app as a button in the product module utility menu for quick access.  

You will be able to see the new location under the list of custom button placements:


In addition to this, we have renamed the following locations:

Old Name
New Name
List View - Button for each record
List View - Each Record
List View Page
List View - Mass Action Menu
