Hello everyone,
We have made a few enhancements in the User's Home page and the Dashboard tab.
Additional components in the User Home page for new sign-ups
In the Home tab, under User's home page a new CRM user could see only three components:
- My Open Tasks
- Today's Leads
- My Meetings.
Now, we are providing additional components in the home page to help new users get started with their daily work items and enhance their productivity on the go. The new additions are:
- KPIs: My Open Deals, My Leads, My Untouched Deals, My Today's Calls.
- Custom views: My Deals Closing this Month
- Funnel: My Pipeline Deals by Stage
The users' can delete these components, if they don't wish to use them, however this action cannot be undone. They can also create and add new components as per their requirements to their personal homepage. Refer to the help doc for more details.
For existing users' the home page will not be changed as the addition of new components can disturb the existing customizations made by the user.
Deleting system-defined dashboards and components
Earlier, there was no option to delete the system-defined dashboards which at times businesses do not require. Now, we are allowing deletion of these dashboards from the org account.
Once the system-defined dashboards and components are deleted they cannot be retrieved. In case you need them, you can clone and keep it for your reference or share it with selected users in the org.
Note: Actions performed in the dashboards such as creations, deletion, cloning etc. will be captured and displayed in the Audit log.
Global icon to represent public access dashboards
All system-defined dashboards such as Lead analytics, Org Overview, Activity Stats etc. are available for all users by default. For easy identification, we have included a global icon beside these dashboards to represent public access.
