Presenting Assemblies and Kits

We’re thrilled to introduce Assemblies and Kits, which replaces the Bundles feature with two distinct and enterprising types of composite items. This change brings more accuracy in managing composite items, aligning more closely with how businesses work in the real world. 

Assembly Items

Assembly Items are designed for items that require physical assembly from individual components.

• Think of this as an upgraded version of the old Bundles, now renamed as Assemblies, with added enhancements.

• Assembly processes are now centralised in a dedicated Assemblies module under Inventory, giving you more control and visibility into your production workflows.

Kit Items

Kit Items are for grouping existing items for sale without physical assembly.

• Perfect for promotional bundles, gift sets, or packaged kits, where each item remains independent but is sold as a unit.

• You can set custom prices for your kits, making it easier to offer attractive combos to customers.
  

Why This Change?

• Building items from parts? Use Assembly Items.

• Selling item combos or curated sets? Go with Kit Items.

Custom Views and Field Customization

Optimize your assembly process by tailoring it to fit your business needs. You can create custom views to enhance filtering and organize your assemblies.

Assemblies and Sales by Item Report

You can view your assembly activities which provides insightful analytics to track performance with Assembly Report and track the sales of kit items with Sales by Item Report by checking the Show kit instead of kit components under + More Filters.
