Introducing color coding feature of picklist fields in Meetings

Greetings!

As part of the ongoing UI enhancement, we are excited to introduce color coding of picklist fields in Meetings.

'Meetings' is a great way to collaborate with peers and stay productive. You can block the calendar, invite participants, set reminders, etc. Additionally, to provide differentiation between different meetings, we have introduced color coding of picklist fields in Meetings.

Once the values are colored, you can perceive the type of meeting at one glance. For example, the picklist field "Meeting Purpose", can be assigned blue color for prospecting, yellow for contacting, green for Negotiating, etc., such that each meeting is distinct and easily identifiable.

Where do I ascribe the colors for picklist values?

Color coding for meeting can be enabled in the Pick List Properties of the Meetings' Layout Builder. To know more about the setup, refer to our help doc.

How will the assigned colors be displayed?

Once the colors are assigned by admins, the corresponding values will be displayed with the ascribed color bulletins. Additionally, to provide a visual distinction in the calendar, the calendar tile with the picklist value will be shaded in that color. Apart from the Calendar, picklist colors will be displayed in List view, related lists, and all relevant places where the meetings are involved.

If an individual user belonging to that organization wants to change the color for his account, he can then change it from calendar preferences.
