Hope you are well!
Segmenting customers based on their purchase history helps you understand their behavior and purchase pattern. Now, to facilitate segmentation at a granular level, we have a couple of enhancements.
What are the enhancements?
Thus far you were able to segment customers based on their transactional information available in the contribution module. Hereon, you can specify criteria for the contribution module and create segmentation based on the RFM metrics of the records that satisfy the criteria configured. This is helpful for diversified businesses, to segment a particular category of deals or other records from the contribution module.
For example, using office spaces as a criteria, you can create a segmentation based on the deals closed for properties in office spaces.
With the latest enhancements, if Deals is selected as the contributing module, then the Deal Stage = Closed/ Won is considered as the default criteria until it is altered to other criterion.
The configured criteria and the default criteria will be displayed in the segmentation rule entry section.
P.S. These enhancements are released for all users in all DCs.
