Introducing Developer Space in Zoho Subscriptions
Hello devs!
At Zoho Subscriptions, we're constantly looking for ways to empower the developer community. Our goal is to provide you with the tools you need to integrate Zoho Subscriptions with your other platforms, and we also want to make it easy to test and deploy changes faster. Today, we're happy to launch the Developer Space, a module that was designed exclusively for developers using Zoho Subscriptions. You can find it under Settings > Developer Space.
What is Developer Space, and how does it help?
Currently, the Developer Space module has a section that monitors your organization's use of Zoho Subscriptions' APIs.
These API usage dashboards keep track of the usage per day and the top five sources that consume Zoho Subscriptions' APIs. These metrics are based on parameters like IP addresses, modules, applications, and users.
We've also included an API usage timeline, which helps you understand your usage trends over the last 30 days. You can use these insights to optimize your API consumption rate.
[IMPORTANT] Filtering API calls using authtokens
As mentioned earlier, we are switching to OAuth 2.0 for using our REST APIs, and you will no longer be able to use authtokens after 1 July 2021. To help you with the migration process, we've added a filter in the Developer Space to identify API calls that still use authtokens as their authentication protocol. This way, you can complete the migration in stages, without having to worry if there's anything you missed.
The API usage charts are only the beginning, and we'll be adding more resources to the Developer Space based on your feedback.
