Introducing Global Board View for Work Items

Global Board View in Zoho Sprints now equips you with a unified board for all the work item in your workspace and provides as a bird's eye view of every project's work items on one board.

When you are a part of multiple projects or when a release is dependent on multiple projects, keeping a tab on each project's board is cumbersome. Knitting all the information into one and then finding the status is tedious. Global board will now provide an overall view of all your work items on a kanban-style board.

With board view, every relevant item from every project will appear in one place, organized in columns for you to act on. 


 
Actions that simplify your work in board view
  1. Group work items: Arrange columns by Status Name, Status Progress %, Assignee, or Item Tag, depending on what information you require at the moment.

  2. Add swimlanes: Swimlanes provide another layer of clarity. Within each column, break items down further. For example, Group by 'status' and add 'assignee' as a swimlane to see who is holding what at each stage.

  3. Update items with drag and drop: Move a work item to a different column and its field value updates automatically.

  4. Customize display data: Use the actions menu to turn on the Due Date Tracker, expand subitems, hide or show empty lanes and collapse all swimlanes or any empty columns.

  5. Get a quick summary: The Item Summary shows the total number of items along with their estimation points, so you can gauge workload at a glance.
