What is Offline Signature?
The Offline Signature feature enables organizations to manage contracts that are signed outside the platform through traditional methods such as wet signatures, third-party signing tools, or in-person execution. While Zoho Contracts offers seamless integration with Zoho Sign for digital signing workflows, there are scenarios where parties prefer or are required to sign documents offline due to regulatory requirements, counterparty preferences, or organizational policies.
How Does It Work?
With the Offline Signature feature, you can download the finalized contract, get it signed externally, and upload the signed copy back into Zoho Contracts along with the digital signature certificate.
Here is a quick look at what you can do:
- Admins can enable the feature from organization settings to allow users across the organization to upload externally signed documents.
- Download contracts, amendment documents, amendment letters, renewal letters, and extension letters in either MS Word document or PDF and share them with signing parties through any external channel.
- Upload the signed copies back into the platform along with signer details, such as organization representatives, counterparty representatives, and other representatives.
- Keep your contract records accurate and up to date by uploading signed amendment documents, amendment letters, renewal letters, and extension letters whenever amendments, renewals, or extensions are executed offline.
