Invalid TLS Version when setting up to use SMTP

Invalid TLS Version when setting up to use SMTP

I'm setting up a hosted service to use my zoho smtp and the only give me the option to use TLS or nothing at all (no SSL).  When I choose TLS it returns the message:  Transport Layer Security Error #40 (TLS): Invalid TLS version (0x3230).

Any idea how I track this down on who's side it's on and how I speak intelligently about it?  The hosted service didn't help much and said they'd submit a "development ticket" but had no other information to provide.

Any other suggestions, thoughts, information?  I understand TLS, enough to understand the concept and theory, but how do I navigate my issue?
