Invoice Logo Quality Looks Terrible

On the 'Logo settings' page. I have uploaded a 'System Logo' and a 'Invoice Logo'. The 'System Logo' shows up perfectly fine but the 'Invoice Logo' looks horribly pix elated when an invoice is exported into PDF format.

I tried uploading the exact same image that I used with the System Logo.

I used photoshop to create multiple versions to see if I could get it to work.

I tried using .gif and .jpg.

I tried making it 140px x 60px, 280px x 120px, and even larger (while maintaining the same ration) in hopes that it would improve the quality.

None of these things fixed the problem. This seems to be a bug unless I am missing something. The logo looks so bad that I might just use the 'text' version of the template but I really would prefer to have my company logo show up correctly.
