Invoice numbering

Hello,

Is it possible to create specific, sequential, invoice numbering for different invoices? Example:

We have 3 departments that each have to use their own specific invoice number format, (2011-001, 2011-C-001, 2011-S-001), each set must be in sequential order and therefore cannot all be used under the one invoicing numbering system.
