IOS mobile app and documents

We have several ios users that will be using the projects apple mobile app. We believe we have run into an issue. 

We create a project template with specific zoho team folders. One of the folders has a zoho sheet template in it. Once we create a NEW project with that template all the phases/tasks/folders are created and that zoho spreadsheet is also created for the project.

We open the zoho spreadsheet on ios zoho app under the project> document> and file and then open zoho spreadsheet. However if we make any adjustments or changes to the zoho sheet it does not update or sync the sheet file in the actual project. We have tried this on android and it does update in real time and sync. 

Note: user is logged into sheets and when we update the sheet we then save the sheet...but it doesn't sync..it's like the sheet that is open in iOS is not linked to the project and opening up and saving somewhere else. 

 Is there an issue with ios updating the spreadsheet?
