Iphone App - phone number entry - please fix

Iphone App - phone number entry - please fix

When entering a new contact, account or lead in the iphone app, the pop up keyboard does not allow for a:
"-" dash
"( )" parenthesis
Or space
In an effort to support consistent data entry and to bring some sort of validity to ZOHO CRM
PLEASE FIX THIS OVERSIGHT
note: as I have been told by support there is not way to mass update phone numbers into a standard format, so users are required to enter the specific format on each and ever record.... Isn't this a contact management software solution?? And is a phone number in the top 3 fields used??
