iPhone mail sending failed - Sender address rejected by server ??

We have recently migrated from gmail and have been able to use the zoho webmail interface just fine. I followed the Zoho setup instructions and enabled Imap using the control panel and also added the accounts on the iphones without issue.
 
However, we have been unable to send emails using the iphones. We keep receiving an error message stating the sender address was rejected by the server.
 
I have cross checked the incoming & outgoing server details along with the smtp settings and ports etc. but still have not found the problem.
Some help is appreciated?
