Two features that I need in order to use the timer are

1) Ability to change field values before the timer saves the record

* Fields like Notes, Billable and even Task and Project

2) Have start and end time fields filled in when timer is stopped.  

* Currently it records the total time in the hours field and the Notes field shows from and to time.

I am curious if anyone uses the timer and if not what else do you use?
