Hi All,

When I open a ZoHo Desk ticket in a web browser, the tab title (text that appears at the top of the browser tab) uses the logic:

*company icon picture* (xxxx) #ticket number - company name


See below (highlighted in red) for reference. Company icon picture has been blacked out.




I'm wondering if it's possible to change or customize the web browser tab title.

 , I am afraid it is not possible to customize this. Nonetheless, I'm interested in understanding about your desired customization and the specific information you'd like to display.

Thanks for the feedback.

We were interested customizing the tab title for two reasons

If we have multiple ZoHo tickets open in different browser tabs, seeing the client name in the tab title would make it easier to distinguish between multiple tabs versus tab titles containing a ticket number

ideal tab title examples:

Skateboard Client - #2801281

Ice Cream Client - #4703812

current tab title examples:

#2801281 - My Company

#4044801 - My Company


Note My Company is not the same as the client the ticket is for



Second reason is some automatic time tracking programs (e.g. Timely) use the web browser tab title to create a time entry. But having a time entry of #4044801 - My Company is not as informative as Skateboard Client - #2801281

I have the same request
 and would like to re-iterate Chris' points.

Seeing the ticket number in the tab and my organization's name, is not useful in the slightest to me and I would be curious to know who does find it helpful.

I cannot tell, at a glance what the tab's ticket is about unless I click on it.

I would actually much rather see the [ticket subject] - [account OR contact name] as the title of the tabs.

I don't know where Chris' request stands but I would also like to express support for this change.
