Is it possible to create a quote for a prospect WITHOUT converting them to a Customer?

Is it possible to create a quote for a prospect WITHOUT converting them to a Customer?

In our sales process, if we have a prospect who is interested in our service/product, but not yet a customer, I'm finding that you are unable to create a quote for this prospect unless they are converted from Prospect to Customer in Zoho. Further to that, you cannot create a Quote unless you create an Opportunity (Potential)...which is not as big of deal but we really don't want to convert the Prospect to a Customer until they are in fact a customer. Is there a way to just create an opportunity AND/OR a quote for a Prospect?
