In the last 12-18 months Zoho had a major update. Ever since we will frequently have to click 'Save' twice for a note to saved.
It happens when copying and pasting into the note AND directly typing into the note. It is not consistent. It happens sometimes.
- Does anyone have a workaround this?
- Can anyone share additional instances and more details of when this happens to them? (It may help Zoho figure out how to fix the problem.)
We use Zoho CRM to track sales, and if we don't have a saved note on what our last conversation was about and what our next step is, it looks very unprofessional. It is costing us revenue. Our team goes through many records a day, and we can't get in the habit of waiting 4-7 seconds to see if Zoho actually saved a note.
One Specific Example:
- I copied an email message from Gmail into Zoho CRM notes.
- Zoho CRM added a 15 lines of extra space below the note.
- I was not able click into the space to delete it.
- When I clicked 'save' it erased the extra space, instead of saving the note.
- I had to click 'save' a second time for the note to be saved.
That is just one instance. It often happens when we type notes directly into notes. (I also found a similar instance in this community in notes in the Deals module.)
