Is there a way to hide the "Stage History" section in Potentials?

Is there a way to hide the "Stage History" section in Potentials?

We are not currently using the Stage History section in the Potentials module. Some of our sales reps are expecting data to populate there even though we told them we aren't using it. Is there a way to hide this section? (See below).
