Is there any way to keep a history of the email campaigns/autoresponders a subscriber has been a member of?

In MailChimp you had a historical view of what had been sent at the subscriber level. Is there any such feature in Zoho Campaigns? I had thought there would be a record but, once a person has been removed from the list, that info is deleted from Zoho CRM. I need to be able to see what people have been sent past the last 5 that I'm pushing back to Zoho CRM.
Current process is 2 master lists ( one for Leads and one for Contacts) and then people are added to lists based on workflow criteria. Say someone requests information for us - they're added to Zoho CRM as a Lead or Contact depending on if we've spoken to them and then they are moved into the appropriate drip campaign. If they request a trial of our software they're put into an autoresponder that has periodic info sent to them based on their use case during their 14-day trial. We are trying to track open/click to determine when to engage. All that info is pushed back as long as their still in the autoresponder however, when they complete the trial that info is removed leaving us to guess at what they received and what they opened/clicked. Do I need to keep these people in their Lead/Contact list and figure out some other way to trigger the autoresponder (rather than put them into a different list for the autoresponder and then remove)?
Does that make sense to anyone?
Sorry for the million questions. I took over email marketing from someone who's no longer in the company and have recently transitioned from MailChimp to Zoho Campaigns. So, it's just me figuring all this out.
