We are looking to adopt Zoho One as our "operating system for business". I'm on a trial and have searched everywhere for this solution with no luck. Hoping someone here can help....
I'm having trouble finding an answer to whether or not this can be done in any Zoho app...
Here's our scenario: We manufacture a custom product with virtually unlimited options. Everything is made-to-order so we do not have any sales inventory. The customer can choose from a handful of material items first, and then they can specify multiple options for each material item chosen.
Ideally this would work when creating a quote in Zoho CRM, or an Estimate in Zoho Books. The quote or estimate would allow our sales staff to add the options from a piclist under each main item and it would look like this:
Item 1: Material 1
- Application: (piclist)
- Usage: (piclist)
- Thickness: (piclist)
- Design Pattern: (piclist)
- Carving: (piclist)
- Color: (piclist)
Item 2: Material 2
- Application: (piclist)
- Usage: (piclist)
- Thickness: (piclist)
- Design Pattern: (piclist)
- Carving: (piclist)
- Color: (piclist)
Item 3: Material 3
- Application: (piclist)
- Usage: (piclist)
- Thickness: (piclist)
- Design Pattern: (piclist)
- Carving: (piclist)
- Color: (piclist)
"Item Groups" in "Zoho Inventory" are fine for a few variations (item options) but they are not a solution when you have an almost unlimited amount of product options or "variations".
This seems like it would be a standard feature for anyone selling anything with multiple options.
