I am trying to figure out how to set up a company for an aircraft charter/broker and I'm hoping you may be able to help me.
I have the leads set up and am currently working on the prospect section, but this is where I am starting to run into problems.
When a lead calls we take their info, where, when, how many, and then place calls to our flight provider.
Our flight provider then call us back with price quotes for the trip and we want to attach these quotes to the lead, before it has been converted to an prospect. In essence we are subcontracting the work out
My questions are:
1) Our flight providers, since they are B2B are listed in the Account section, they also call us and we provide them services from time to time. Should each flight provider be listed as an account and a vendor?
2) What module should I be using to log the quotes, Quotes, Purchase Order, Invoice, Sales Order, etc..?
3) I guess we should list each aircraft type in products, but multiple flight providers use the same type of aircraft. How do I set up the products. And do I really want to change the products form that much since we also need to order other supplies.
