I haven't been able to find out definitively, if I perform an email migration using IMAP from a GMail account, whether the emails will remain in my GMail account or whether they will be deleted from the GMail account as they're moved across.

Which is the case? And if emails are deleted, is there a way to ensure this doesn't happen?
